Chocolate Heaven Trifle Recipe
1 package of German chocolate cake mix of 18.25 ounces 1 package of instant pudding (chocolate) ¾ cup coffee, strongly brewed 1 container of thawed frozen whipped topping 6 frozen and crushed chocolate covered toffee bars Directions:In a 9 x 13 sized cake pan, you are going to bake your cake according to the instructions listed on the cake package. After the cake has been baked and cooled, you are going to crumble the cake into a bowl. You want to make the pudding and set it aside. Get out a large glass container for creating your trifle. Take half of your crumbles cake and place it in the bottom of your glass container. Take half of your strongly brewed coffee and pour it directly onto the crumbled cake in your glass container. Take your pudding and spread half of the pudding on top of the crumbled cake and coffee. Top that with half of your whipped cream and sprinkle your candy pieces on the whipped cream. You are going to repeat the above process one more time and then place your chocolate heaven trifle in the refrigerator to cool. Once your chocolate heaven trifle is chilled, it will be ready to be served. This trifle is a delicious and smooth tasting dessert. |
